Group Walk

We can ensure that your dog will have more than enough time outside. It will be hard to stop their tails from wagging with all the fun they’ll be having. We offer daily quality rural group walks of an hour + with a strict ratio of 6 dogs per hander.

We venture to varied fantastic locations so your dog will never be bored. Be it along the river or over the Blackdown hills, through some of our many woodlands or a special trip to the beach. Your dog will have the time of his life.

Our canine adventure walks not only provide an opportunity for exercise, but also help to curb bad habits by giving pets a chance to release excess energy, play focused games to exercise the mind and socialize with others. Where allowed dogs will be off lead. - Tailored to your dogs needs.

Nervous dogs in need of rehabilitation welcome. We pride our self on our positive reinforcement and patient ethos.

All new dogs will be subject to a trial and strictly no aggressive behaviour tolerated.

Boarding

A true home from home dog sitting alternative to kennels in our country house. We will feed, fuss, exercise and play, with your dog as part of our family so that you can enjoy your holiday knowing that your dog is enjoying theirs. We know that your dog is part of the family and would be unnecessarily upset if removed from their normal environment and routine, albeit for a short time. So we do every thing we can to help your dog feel just as much at home with us as with you. Your dog will be included in our daily group walks, and exercised within our 4 acres.

Host families available for the more nervous, quiet, older dog or who perhaps isn't so social. Dogs must be vaccinated or Titre tested, Entire dogs taken at our disgression. Puppies catered for.

Day Care

We offer day care in our custom designed doggy daycare centre. Your dog will be able to play, socialise and exercise with other companionable animals and engage in structured play and learning with experienced carers whilst you are not at home. From playing in tunnels, dig pits and climbing blocks, paddling in the pool to snoozing in the cosy corner, your dog will be busying his body and mind until you are ready to collect a happy and tired hound. This company may help to prevent destructive and anxious behaviour from bored dogs or those with separation anxiety.

Puppy Socials

Puppy socialisation isn't about handing your puppy to as many different people as possible, or letting them meet lots of different dogs. Its about them learning how to behave in social situations and to feel safe in the world with you. Here at Walkingwoofs, we believe all learning should be positive, fun and ultimately done with no pressure. That's why we do our puppy socials.

We have a relaxed atmosphere with indoor and outdoor areas to explore at the pups own pace with a mixture of other dogs. For pups from 4 months and up, they can join us Monday - Friday for a social half day. Your pup will be supervised throughout. Will engage in play with dogs and handlers, be encouraged to rest and will also be taught basic commands such as sit and wait. Please email us for availability.
